Straightpoint has installed a new 60-ton load cell test machines at its North American facility in Camarillo, California. The MTS universal machine can test in compression and tension, giving Straightpoint the ability to test its entire range of load cells up to 120,000 lbs.
The tensile calibration machine completed a six-figure Straightpoint investment in state-of-the-art equipment that can calibrate and re-calibrate load cells made by the company and other manufacturers.
The North American MTS unit will test load cells calibrated and retraceable to ASTM E4.
